1. Free Machine Safety Assessment

A free Machine Safety Assessment service is available to assist you to determine the present status of your machine safety and identify priority issues that may need to be addressed to achieve appropriate machine safety compliance. See back page for more information.

2. Full Machine Safety Risk Assessment

OHS legislation requires that Risk Assessments are conducted for all machinery. This service provides a comprehensive assessment report detailing risk assessment outcomes, current status and compliance requirements. The report also includes recommendations for appropriate state-of-the-art machine safety system solutions.

3. Machine Safety System Recommendations

Where a current Risk Assessment already exists, this service provides a comprehensive report covering a review of existing measures relevant to the current Risk Assessment and also recommendations for appropriate state-of-the-art machine safety system solutions.

4. Machine Safety Control System Design

Our engineers can provide a comprehensive Machine Safety System Control Design to ensure compliance with AS4024.1-2006 which is suitable for your machinery and operation requirements.

5. Machine Safety Control System Analysis

Our engineers can also provide a comprehensive analysis of existing, or proposed, Machine Safety System Control Designs to ensure compliance with AS4024.1-2006.

6. Machine Safety Control System Integration

Our integration team can provide a complete turnkey machine safety system project incorporating any, or all, of the above machine safety control system options to provide a fully integrated machine safety control system compliant with the requirements of AS4024.1-2006.

7. Machine Safety Control System Validation

AS4024.1502 requires validation of the design and specification of the machine safety control system. 10. Safe Operating Procedures Development

Your commitment to establishing and implementing safe operating procedures is paramount to the well-being of your staff at work. This service is designed to assist where these safe operating procedures have not been fully developed, or implemented, providing site-specific safe operating procedures systems developed in conjunction with your teams to suit your situation. Appropriate safety relevant instructions will be developed, combined with appropriate PPE requirements/recommendations.

Machine Safety Training - One Day Course

This intensive one day course covers the following aspects of machine safety:

 OHS Legislation and Standards

A detailed look at the OHS Act, OHS Regulations and Australian Standards relevant to the Australian industry sector as applicable in each state.

Risk Assessment and Workplace Hazard Identification

A useful guide for developing and implementing a Risk Assessment process, including the identification of hazards with a specific focus on machine guarding.

Machine Guarding

An extension of the OHS Legislation and Standards, Risk Assessment Overview and Workplace Hazard Identification sections, providing a practical guide through the machine guarding process.

Safety Systems

A practical discussion on how safe operating procedures, signage/labeling and lock-out/tag-out combine with machine guarding in creating a comprehensive safety system.

Who Should Attend

Individuals having an involvement in the Risk Assessment process; machine guarding at the design, implementation, operation and supervision levels within their organisation, and/or their particular job function; OHS and management of others within the organisation.

Options

This course can be presented as a standard course, or can be tailored to suit the particular requirement of an organisation. This course can be provided onsite at your premises, or at the local Inaco office.

Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) Training and Assessment - Two Hour Course

A two hour training session for groups of up to 6 students per session, consisting of a 1 hour theory/demonstration session followed by a 1 hour practical/ competency assessment session. The training is developed around relevant current Australian OHS legislation, current Australian Standards and the organisation’s lock-out/tag-out policy and procedures. Assessments will be undertaken at workplace areas, relevant to the students.

Students will receive:

  • a copy of the organisation’s lock-out/tag-out policy/procedures document (provided by organisation)
  • a certificate of competency assessment (assessment is based on the organisation’s Lock-out/Tag-out policy and procedures in conjunction with relevant machine specific LOTO procedures)
Your company will receive an attendance/competency assessment report. All Lock-out/Tag-out training and assessment is conducted on-site at your location (conditions apply).

Who Should Attend

Individuals who isolate energy sources from machines for people to safely access areas not available during normal operating conditions.
